My Story

A fitness journey is never linear

nor does it have an end destination.

I started my health transformation journey in 2006 when I reached my highest weight. I was not exercising regularly, and I was eating a fast-food, Standard American Diet. It was easy and tasty, and I thought it was cheaper as I was a poor, struggling college student working at Starbucks. I didn’t know anything about nutrition save the
generic “Eat less, exercise more” advice that is not helpful.

That advice led to food restriction and lots of cardio, which was not sustainable
and resulted in being skinny-fat with a sluggish metabolism. It took me a couple of years to shed 45 lbs and plenty of plateaus as my body adjusted to my new baseline. I started by eating more real food cooked at home and a couch to 5K running plan that helped jump-start my journey and get me those early wins which showed me – hey, maybe I’m not just the fat girl.
Maybe my body can be what I want – that healthy, athletic girl I had always aspired to be. I completed my first full marathon and several half marathons and competed in bodybuilding in the bikini division. I accomplished things I didn’t think were possible when I was that heavy, unhealthy person.

You can too!

I had to go through a lot of trial and error to get to where I am today in my understanding of physiology and metabolism and how best to apply this to my body for my goals. As I have been successful, people have asked me to help them accomplish their weight loss and health goals. This led me to further my education as a coach and open the doors to Antigravity Wellness in 2022. In 2023, I expanded services as an ARNP in WA state to include hormone replacement and medical weight loss in combination with my tried and true nutrition, fitness, and lifestyle coaching.

I have since been able to help my clients create habit changes that led to weight loss, muscle building, strength gains, pain relief, and healing to reverse health conditions that were previously just being managed with medication. I take an integrative, holistic approach to help my clients realize their highest health and body composition potentials – to feel and look better than they have in years.

My Certifications

Doctorate of Nursing Practice

Washington State University class of 2010

Family Nurse Practitioner Certified

American Family Nurse Practitioner Certification Board

Orthopaedic Nurse Practitioner Certified

Orthopaedic Nurses Certification Board

Functional Nutrition and Metabolism Specialist

I have completed advanced training tying metabolism dysregulation – from insulin resistance, to thyroid disorder, to adrenal disorder, to sex hormone disorder – to the underlying causes. By reverse engineering these, the body can heal itself. This then leads to body composition, energy, and vitality all improving drastically. This advanced training has made me far better prepared to use diet and lifestyle changes that actually reverse lifestyle diseases such as obesity, insulin resistance, metabolic syndrome, sexual dysfunction, mental health issues such as depression, and more. I also have advanced training in the dietary and lifestyle approaches to autoimmune disorders and gut disorders.

You can’t outwork a poor diet! Nutrition principles are as vital as exercise, if not more so, when reaching body composition and health goals. I have invested in advanced nutritional training through this certification course and others to better prepare myself to create delicious meal plans, educational materials, and coaching for my clients to be as successful in the kitchen as in the gym. As they say, “Abs are made in the kitchen!”

Nicole really has changed the way I look at food, and my body and it is rewarding seeing the changes happen week to week. My body feels great, my skin has cleared up tremendously, my hair isn’t falling out in abnormal chunks, and the joints in my hands feel the best they have felt in over a year! I never realized how unhealthy I really was and how much my body was affected by the poor food choices I was making, but Nicole has changed that, and for her, I am forever grateful.
